Most of my artwork is based around navigating being an ADHD autistic. I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2020 during the middle of the pandemic, which is what led inspired me to take my art in this direction. I combine my love of dark alt fashion, heavy metal music mixed with Japanese street fashion, kawaii subculture, my love for 90s anime mixed in a big pot with neurodivergent touches as well as mental health. I want to create art that people can look at, relate to and also have a dopamine hit from the intense colour.

I draw mainly with my iPad Pro 2020 with an Apple Pencil 2nd gen on Procreate. I also draw traditionally, but find that this can be physically too painful due to past injuries.

Squishi Kitti is my own brand that started off being just drawings, to artwork being sold as prints, to then evolving into a brand that offers clothing, accessories, pins, keychains and stickers.

Although I have been drawing since I was very young, Squishi Kitti was created in 2015. The goal was to make my art become my full time job. Thanks to my amazing followers on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, it’s now a reality.

I produce every item of clothing in my house with my own equipment. Squishi Kitti is run by just me. For this reason, I consider myself to be a slow fashion brand. Production and shipment might take longer, but it means every order is made with so much love and appreciation.
